I am currently in my 11th year of teaching middle school! I teach both math and science. I am currently in my fourth year of CPM. CPM has really motivated me to help all learners in mathematics. I really enjoy how all students do not need to demonstrate learning in the same way. I believe in celebrating mistakes and success with my students. In my classroom, students work together to be able communicate their learning and to strengthen the connections of different math representations!

My two sessions will be about how my students own their learning, reflect on their learning, and how to increase collaboration of teams!
