Walking Through Lines
In this session we'll start with the Algebra Walk from the CPM CC3 course as a way to actively experience the xy - coordinate system. It is a fun way to informally introduce linear functions. This activity connects words, equations, tables and graphs and allows the teacher to assess what prior learning the students are bringing to the course. Teachers will also have time to explore the Desmos Linear Activity Bundle during this session. Participants need a laptop or tablet for access.
