I taught Mathematics, Music and STEM for ten years before being demoted to a principal. I am currently involved in bringing inquiry and project based learning strategies into all curricular areas in my small rural school. I was California State Science Fair Teacher of the Year in 2015 and am a California finalist for the 2017 PAEMST Award. I love Legos, sushi, hiking and launching big balloons into space.
