You may earn one continuing education unit (not academic credit) through Fresno Pacific University for attending all of the conference.  Each morning you will need to sign the attendance sheets located at either the Embassy Suites-Waterfront or the Hilton-Room 1421/1425 (this has been moved from the Glimmer Room). You are also required to submit evaluations for all of the sessions that you attend, including the Keynote (Saturday morning) and the Ignite Session (Sunday afternoon). 5f Team Strategies within the Lesson

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Working together in teams takes a lot of practice. Repeatedly telling students to label answers and round correctly becomes a hassle. Through the use of some of the techniques I have developed, students work effectively in teams while being held accountable for problems. Students take ownership of their learning in ways where the teacher is not constantly reminding them of the same procedures. Students demonstrate more success while analyzing their work, which is essential as students reflect on their learning.
