Posing Purposeful Questions

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Effective teaching of mathematics requires the use of questioning in the classroom. In this session we will look at the four types of questioning outlined in NCTM's Principles to Actions: Ensuring Mathematical Success for All. Teachers will collaborate with each other to work through activities that will increase their knowledge and practice of using effective and mindful questioning in the classroom.
