Literacy in the Math Classroom: Supporting Both Math and Humanities!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Participants will be able to leave the session with concrete tools and strategies (i.e. vocabulary foldables, writing graphic organizers, writing systems, etc.) to address Math Practice #3; construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. Participants will be able to explore how explicitly addressing reading, writing, and math vocabulary will not only increase their literacy but will directly support math comprehension as well.
