Teamwork, Content, and Growth Mindset: Teaching an Algebra/Physics Blended Course

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Two teachers at Saint Mary’s School in North Carolina co-taught an Algebra I/Physics course. The goals of the course were teamwork, growth mindset, and content. The Algebra I content came from the CPM materials and the Physics content was embedded throughout the course through interactive lecture demonstrations and investigations. The presenters will provide an overview of the course content, instructional and grading methods, assessment examples, and evidence of the success of this course.
