Redesigning Math Tasks with Strategies and Structures to Engage and Support EL Students

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Engage in a redesigned math task that improves accessibility for EL students. Influenced by questionless math word problems, teachers will participate in a model lesson that embeds research-based EL strategies and promotes English language development. Students who typically struggle will leave the classroom empowered with new math experiences and the ability to communicate their reasoning.
